Birthday Quest

This weekend was my friend Eric’s 21st birthday! To celebrate, I put together an Adventure Time themed quest that had him running all over campus searching for clues, rescuing candy people, and completing challenges. His locations included Tower Hall front doors, the tutoring center, the Honors Lounge, the library, the rock climbing wall, the basketball court, The Cable office, and a few more. At each location there was a clue or challenge leading him to the next location. There were riddles, word scrambles, and even a tarot card reading by our very own fortune teller. I was super thankful for my friends and the campus faculty and staff who helped out with putting this quest together, even if some of them didn’t know they were participating as he asked for assistance navigating the halls! At the end of his quest, he had to battle two “witches” to rescue all of his friends from the dungeon. When he did so, they all jumped out and yelled “surprise!” Then we had food and played games the rest of the evening!
