Study Date – Go Anywhere on Campus!

Wednesday, April 26th, 2017

Along with a unsafe road conditions, comes a bunch of plans that usually get canceled. Today, I had a study date at Caribou, but it wasn’t exactly safe to drive down the hill. So, my date and I met at the Benedictine Commons. Guess what? There was some event going on. No worreis! There’s about a million places to study in Science alone. We ended up taking sitting down in the lounge area near the 3rd floor Science computer lab. Which actually was great, because there’s a beautiful view of the lake. If that wouldn’t have worked out? There’s study rooms adjacent to it, lounge chairs in the hallways, and few study rooms for different majors. Yay for study opportunities!

STEM Talk

Today there was a talk put on about water. I attended because of my participation in the STEM program and also because my teacher would give us extra credit. Her idea was that need to use water more effectively!

Astronomy

Friday, February 3rd, 2017

The second class for my second semester is Astronomy. I took this class because I needed more credits for my science gen-ed.thus class, as astronomy does, is study the stars, planets, formations and galaxies in space and identify them. This class is just built on basic knowledge of space, hopefully I’ll be able to understand all of this as science in general was not my best subject in school. I haven’t taken a science class since high school. This should be an experience since I’m not really sure what I need to learn or that I already know.
