Spring Break Zoo

Spring break is a wonderful opportunity to get out and do cool things. One of the many things I enjoy doing is going to the zoo. Sadly, I haven’t been to the zoo in about 3 years. And on all the other breaks, I haven’t had the time to make a return.

Well, that all ends today because today is the day haha. And today is extra special because a new person will experiencing the zoo. My best friend of 6 years recently had a newborn baby; the child is now an honorary member of our friend group. Arguably, this child is the most important part of the friend group. The baby’s name is River, and this will be her first time going to the zoo today.

I’m excited to see how the baby will react to the animals, to the scenery, to the smells and to the environment overall. This will also be the first time I have gone to the zoo with my friends. For me personally, the zoo is a place where stress doesn’t exist and it’s very therapeutic for me to go. Later on in the week, me and my friends might go to an art museum. Either way, there’s always something to do during spring break and those things can be very special to the memory.
