Growth is Painful

Bottom line is, growth is painful. The feelings that I had walking into freshman year are different now that I’m leaving as a senior. The first few weeks of college were exciting, nerve-racking, and foreign. I had no idea who my friends are going to be, I have no idea what major I was going to pursue, and I had no idea what future I would have career-wise.

Leaving, I know all of those things now. My advice to incoming freshmen is to let go of this version of yourself. Change is extremely painful, at the same time, there is something to be excited for. I now get to call shots in my life. The money I make is mine, the Empire I make is mine.
