Garrison Keillor Event

This Sunday I meet someone cool, and that’s Garrison Keillor. You should go do like I did and Google him, he is an extremely interesting guy. This Sunday, he is coming to the College of Saint Scholastica for an event happening I believe in the Mitchell Auditorium. They had asked me to join the stage with him, which I find an incredible honor.

To be honest, I didn’t know who he was, not because he’s not important but simply because I live under a rock at times. He graduated from college with an English degree; I will do the same when I graduate this May. If I am lucky to have a few minutes with him, I will probably ask him simply for advice. He is a really talented guy who has made a lot of waves and could give a guy like me with an English degree some advice on how to navigate his career and future.

Needless to say, I cannot wait for this incredible honor.
