Career vs. Career Passion

So, today I got a very important call. I recently applied to a very awesome internship at Skyway Theater, a bar and music concert venue located in downtown Minneapolis. The internship would require me to work behind the scenes on events and other important things. As someone who has produced a couple of shows now, I personally think I would be a perfect fit for the job. However, this internship is unpaid.

This Friday I have an important interview over the phone with Target. This is a full-time job with a salary. Now, I’m not sure at all if I will get either job but it puts me in a interesting situation. I’m not sure whether to take a job that is my passion (which is music and entertainment), and not get paid for it or go for a job that has a guaranteed salary. Stay tuned.
