Lunch from my Clinical Instructor

The last week of my internship, we scheduled what we call the CPI (Clinical Performance Instrument) on Wednesday of that week. The CPI is an online self-evaluation form that we fill out at Mid-term and Final of each internship to help us measure our performance and progress. Then, our CI’s (clinical instructor) also fill this out based on our performance. Our schedule for Wednesday was blocked for 2 hours over lunch so we could go over this together and talk about how I did on this internship and areas that I can continue to improve.

My CI, Mike, took me out for lunch before we reviewed the CPI. We went to a Chinese restaurant just a couple blocks down from the hospital. It was nice to sit and chat about things outside of clinic. I got to pick his brain more about his experience as a PT and some of the hot topics in physical therapy right now. It will be nice to have him as a contact and mentorship as I continue through my physical therapy journey.
