Reality

For some reason, this semester has been the semester of reality. It must be because I’m graduating, but everything I see and learn these days feels more pressing than ever before. It’s like I was living in some kind of dream, pretending that the world didn’t really exist. But at some point along the way, I woke up without realizing it. Every fact is hard and cutting. It’s not like I’m unhappy, classes are going well, and I enjoy most every day. It’s just this feeling that I can’t shake. At least summer is coming.
