A Blast from the Past

I went back to visit the high school I attended today. It was a strange experience. Places always change after a few years, that’s normal, but it was the first time I had entered the building since I had graduated. They had knocked down walls, replaced classrooms, and painted over all the graffiti I had left. I remember seeing visiting college students when I was there. I couldn’t even imagine who they were. It’s strange to be on the other side of that experience, but I don’t regret it. It feels like I’ve finally completed a challenge I didn’t even know I had undertaken.
