ACSM Conference

Myself along with my fellow classmates and professors attended the American College of Sports Medicine Northland Chapter Meeting in Mankato this week. It was held at Mankato State, and included multiple speakers who discussed fatigue and what causes it. Not only physical fatigue from exercise but mental emotional and chemical fatigue. The lectures were okay, some much more interesting than others. By far the best part was getting the chance to go out and get to know some of my classmates. Unlike freshmen year the fact that we’re all at different aspects in our lives means that we don’t have the time to hang out a lot. Some people have kids others jobs not to mention the studying that we all do. Prople really open up after a couple drinks and classes are more fun when you become friends with your classmates.
