    Malvern's Bio:
I have heard that the average human being uses 10% of their brain's potential. Whether that's true or not, this blog is a mirror of at least part of my brain's functionality and activity. It is an outlet through which I share my experiences and escapades here at CSS. I hope that in between the mixed metaphors and rambling in my posts, you find something valuable. I have an overwhelming interest learning new things and expanding my horizons (which is why I am here). Wait, I just lost my train of thought... Welcome to my 'Pensieve' ~ thinking out loud..

Zoom

The Help Disk always has something new and interesting going on each semester. I started working at the Help Desk in Fall 2015, in my first year. This semester, we are experimenting with a new conference and video meeting software called Zoom. This comes after almost a year-long trial of Adobe Connect, which most staff, students, and faculty found to be less easier to use. Today, for our weekly Help Desk meeting, we used Zoom and TAs (Technology Assistants in this case) called in from their dorm rooms, and were quite happy to use Zoom.

I am looking forward to find out how our college community will embrace this technology once it has been approved for official use!
