Early Darkness

The thing I hate most about this time of year is the short amount of sunlight. The cold, fine. The snow, fine. But I miss people able to still have sunlight at 5 pm. I hate going into my internship at sunrise and leaving at 1 pm to see the sun well past its highest point.

Luckily, there’s only one more month of days growing shorter, then the days will grow longer again.

At least there’s always lying to myself about using darkness as an excuse to be unproductive.

Here’s to longer days in spring semester.
