I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

North Shore Hiking

I was invited by a 1st year DPT student and good friend to join him on a  Saturday morning hike up the north shore. The destination was Twin Lakes Trail (6.8 mile trek) near Silver Bay, MN. We got up there early for the sunrise, however the overcast conditions were not favorable for one of the famous north shore sunrises. Despite the overcast conditions, the weather was nice for hiking and the wind was calm. In addition, my buddy likes outdoor photography so our hike was stop and go as we took time to take in the breathtaking views of the north shore (see below).

It was an awesome morning and a solid escape from the stresses of grad school. The College of St. Scholastica is in a great location if you are a fan of the outdoors and the beauty that it holds!

A cool shot my buddy took of me looking out over Bean and Bear Lakes.

I snapped this picture of my friend taking some shots out over the north shore with Bean and Bear Lakes to the right.
