    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Music and Studying

Going to the same corner table of a study room or your desk in your room to do homework and study can get pretty boring. This is especially true when you study as much as a graduate sudent does, like myself. Sometimes you have to switch it up. So far this summer I’ve done a pretty good job at utilizing some of the spaces campus has to offer, but if you’re like me it’s also nice to get off-campus to study.

Outside of the classroom, lab, study rooms, and library on campus I’ve studied at the beach on Park Point, Caribou Coffee in Canal Park, the Tavern on the Hill (while my past roommate and good friend Brody serenaded me), Perk Place, and the clubhouse at Boulder Ridge. In the summer it is nice to go places outside to enjoy the weather while studying. However, whether it is the spring, fall, or summer semester be sure to try out new places to go study.

Duluth is an awesome palce with numerous locations for students to go enjoy themselves while cracking open the books. Plus you get to experience new places that Duluth has to offer. After 4 years here I’m still finding new places to get my school work done!

Brody Olson, my good friend and roomate, just happened to be playing at the Tavern on the Hill in Duluth when went there a couple weeks ago to study and have a beer. I wish there was a Brody Olson pandora station because I did well on the test I was studying for that night.
