    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Grandma’s Marathon Finish

My second Grandma’s Marathon finish occurred this past weekend. It was really nice running weather, although slightly warm, but no complaints on my end. There were so many great participants, volunteers, and spectators who made the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and the Grandma’s Marathon a success! Pre-race, race, and post-race events were so much fun and I hope that if you ever have the opportunity to participate in some way, shape, or form that you take advantage. It is a great weekend full of fun and exciting events for all ages. It is also a fantastic time to see one of the events that make Duluth what it is!

My girlfriend and I posing for a post-race photograph. Even after 26.2 miles we were able to manage smiles!

Me at the pre-race expo at the DECC getting a picture with the iconic “Grandma”!
