    Jesse's Bio:
I graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and am now in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at CSS. I played on the baseball team at CSS for four years. I was also a statistics tutor and currently work as personal care assistant in Duluth. I love the outdoors, hunting fishing, hiking, etc. While being at St. Scholastica I have noticed the “family” atmosphere and I am truly enjoying every second of it.

Fishing Miller Creek

One of my friends in the 1st year class of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program is an avid angler. The day after finishing up our last final exam he brought me out to Miller Creek in Duluth to teach me a thing or two about fly fishing. After a couple snagged lines and a hook or two in the finger, I was able to successfully bring in my first ever brook trout! I was amazed at just how beautiful these brook trout can be! If you are a fisherman/woman or just love being in the outdoors, Duluth is one of the best places to take in the great outdoors. Best of all, you don’t have to go far from the College of St. Scholastica to do so. Come to CSS and get involved in all the outdoor activities that Duluth has to offer!

Another look at how pretty these brook trout can be in the creeks of Duluth.

Beautiful brook trout that I was able to land during my fishing adventures.
