Career Services Job Search Presentation
With terminal internships starting July 10th for the 3rd year CSS Doctorate of Physical Therapy students, it was only fitting to have Mary Anderson, the Director of Career Services at the College of St. Scholastica, come chat with us regarding resume and cover letter writing, the interview process, and social media/LinkedIn set up. Mary went through an hour presentation for us, answering questions and giving us all sorts of examples along the way. She also provided us with a few check lists and a “Job Search Handbook” presented by Career Services. Overall, it was a really informational presentation and I highly recommend anyone, whether you are an incoming freshman or current student to swing by Career Services on main campus or shoot them an e-mail to take advantage of the services they provide to CSS students. #SaintsGetHired

Here is a picture of the handouts that included the resume, cover letter, LinkedIn, and interviewing checklists as well as the CSS Job Search Handbook. You better believe I will be keeping these materials in a safe place and reviewing them as my terminal internships progress and I begin thinking about looking at possible job opportunities!
