    Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Jared's Bio:
I graduated from CSS with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Now I'm in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program here. I love the active environment this school has, which makes for a great experience especially in a major like my own. Coming to this school has been one of the best decisions of my life. Not only is the school a perfect fit, the city of Duluth is so active and alive all the time, which made the selection of St. Scholastica even easier. I have made so many amazing experiences here that I cannot imagine going to any other school.

Small Towns and CSS

I’m sure many people have gone to the week long celebrations that smaller towns put on, like hometown pride days, town and country days, etc. Well around Paynesville, there are many small towns within a 15 mile radius that many of my family live in. Seems like every weekend there is another celebration many of which revolve around farming. So today, my brother lives in Greenwald, MN and they are celebrating Barley Days! Coincidentally, I’ll be going to that for an hour or two then going out to the farm to make some money bailing some more straw!

I’m so lucky to have grown up in such a tight knit community back at home, and it reminds me of how I have this at CSS as well. School has been an experience that I have tried to share with my high school friends who went on to bigger colleges, and they just don’t understand what they are missing out on. It is truly something I will cherish forever.
