    Jared's Bio:
I graduated from CSS with a degree in Exercise Physiology. Now I'm in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program here. I love the active environment this school has, which makes for a great experience especially in a major like my own. Coming to this school has been one of the best decisions of my life. Not only is the school a perfect fit, the city of Duluth is so active and alive all the time, which made the selection of St. Scholastica even easier. I have made so many amazing experiences here that I cannot imagine going to any other school.

CI-Student Interaction

So throughout this internship I have been very independent in my caseload management. Although my CI has been very helpful in managing my caseload, we haven’t gotten to collaborate with many patients. Today, however, we were able to co-eval a patient with balance problems. It was great! My CI and I got all the questions answered we needed, and got right down to the nitty gritty treatment. *Disclaimer: my CI is a genius, seriously hands down he is one of the smartest PT’s I’ve met. We went into a specific treatment with a patient for inner ear problems, and I was actually able to recommend a newer, up to date way of treating this particular diagnosis. He let me try it, and low and behold, it worked! It is one huge benefit of being a student in that you get the most up to date research on how to treat diagnosis, but the practicing therapists also have current experience that take its place. It is a very  nice relationship we have right now, I am so appreciative of this opportunity to work with such an amazing CI.
