    Jin's Bio:
Hi, there! I'm Jin, and I am a passionate, talkative, dessert fanatic. Poems, good books, coconut water, and action movies make me happy. If we ever meet in person, you'll definitely hear me before you see me. You'll want to ask how many energy drinks I've had, but the answer will always be zero.

Yes, I Sang on the Stage!

See that singer on the stage in the Mitchell Auditorium holding that mic stand like it’s a spear and sass shooting out of her eyes?

That’s me, singing “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen for this year’s Student Alumni Association talent show for homecoming weekend. Except, this year it should have been called CSS Idol since every single performer sang a song. Let me explain why I was up there on a stage I had no business being on.

When wee little Jin was a wee little Freshman in college, she made a few promises to a few people with very good memories that she would sing in the talent show before she graduated. This year, wee little Jin wasn’t so wee little anymore and was actually in her last year in college. This was her last chance to fulfill her promise of being on that stage. And so, there I am, singing my heart out and having a fantastic time. I had so much fun on that stage that I almost regret not performing all the years before. Don’t miss out like I did. Get up there and sing your heart out. Dance your feet off. Spin plates. Do some magic. Whatever feeds your soul.

I’m not really sure why I look so sassy in that picture, but my hair looks great so I’m not going to complain. Also, the piano is beautiful behind my sassy posture.
