I am a senior majoring in communication and minoring in photography. The College of St. Scholastica has been a great place for me to be throughout my college journey. I am fascinated by the world and am currently studying abroad at Regent's University London in England. I live for the little things and the adventures I stumble upon everyday. In my free time I enjoy practicing yoga, listening to and writing music, taking pictures, and exploring.

OP! Leader Training

Today, I got to explore the Section 13 climbing area up the North Shore with my Outdoor Pursuit boss and co-guides, who are also my friends. I had a really great time exploring with some of the coolest people I know.

Our day trip up the shore is a part of our leader training for this year. Yesterday, we kicked off the weekend by volunteering with the Access Fund and the Duluth Climbing Coalition to construct and restore one of the entrances to Ely’s Peak in Duluth.

We will finish our training with a two-night camping trip up the North Shore, once again. While out on trail, we will get to practice some of our leadership and guide skills before we head out next week for our S.O.A.R. program, the August Adventure opportunity we offer to incoming freshmen.
