Beautiful Weekend

I had planned on leading a backpacking trip on the Angleworm Lake Trail in the Boundary Waters this weekend, but we chose to cancel the trip earlier on in the week due to a very unpleasant weather forecast. To our surprise, the expected weather did not follow exactly as we expected, and we ended up with a beautiful couple of days here in Duluth. Although I was disappointed to miss out on the backpacking trip, I still made the most of the weekend. My friend, Marissa, and I walked around on the trails behind The College of St. Scholastica yesterday and watched the soccer games. Today, we spent the afternoon outside again watching the men’s soccer team take on Gustavus Adolphus College. Today, they won 3-2! It was a very intense, exciting, and enjoyable game, and I am glad they walked away with the win.
