I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

Exploring New Parts of Duluth – Central Hillside

Today I stayed with my boyfriend in Duluth. He just switched houses with the usually June 1st lease signings that happen here. He used to live closer to East Duluth, but now he is closer to Central Hillside. We went walking around his neighborhood and honestly, I was kind of nervous. There were a lot of cop cars circling the blocks. I know Duluth is a bigger city (80,000+) but I think we forget the different areas that coexist and make up Duluth. There’s many neighborhoods in Duluth and some are better than others. When you are picking off-campus housing, you really need to research the locations and outweigh the pros and cons of the house.
