    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

edTPA Seminar

Because the edTPA is such a difficult and complex assessment, the CSS School of Education excuses us from student teaching two days to meet as a whole group and discuss the edTPA. We also meet with our student teaching supervisors and discuss student teaching and the edTPA. It’s great to get to meet up with my student teaching friends who are at different schools. There’s not much time to socialize otherwise with our crazy schedules. Today was our second seminar. It happened to fall during Duluth Public School’s spring break, so I actually had to stay in Duluth for part of break. We met at 9 am, so at least we got to sleep in! We checked in with the professors explaining how to upload our edTPAs, and then the rest of the day was a big work day. I feel I accomplished a lot today and I still have quite a bit of the day left! Now here’s to finishing the edTPA by April 10th.
