    Courtney's Bio:
I'm an Elementary Education major at CSS. I also plan to minor in Spanish. Having done PSEO, I came to CSS with more than 60 credits. I'm part of Volunteers Involved Through Action (VITA), Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF), and other clubs! Dance has been part of my life for 10 years, and now I'm trying to fit it into my schedule again. I love spending time watching Supernatural and Once Upon a Time, and reading Harry Potter and other great books. I live in a suite with 3 other girls, and we are always finding something fun to do around campus!

A.R.T. Club Murals

Last night I attended A.R.T. Club, where we discussed two murals that we will be collaborating on with the community this year. Last year was the first year of a mural-a-year art initiative. Last year we worked with students from Laura MacArthur Elementary to create a mural. This year, we are working with a women’s shelter and a charter high school. My art professor said that there will be around a total of 40 feet to paint because we are creating TWO murals this year. At the meeting we talked about the beginning stages and dates of the murals while also munching on Pizza Hut. The murals will both emulate “Still I Rise” by Maya Angelou. Both will be revealed to the public at the Still I Rise Concert CSS puts on. The information for that event is in the link below:
