    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Writing Center

Recently, I had to write a paper in one of my classes, and it was worth a big chunk of my grade in that class.  I’m not super good at writing, especially with the sort of topic we were given.  I had asked some of my classmates and roommates to read my paper and correct it.  My professor said we can email her the paper and she would look it over to make sure we were on the right track as well.  I took all of those measures and even remembered that we have the Writing Center on campus.  The Writing Center is employed by students that excel in writing all sorts of essays.  You can email them your paper and they will correct it, or you can set up a meeting with them to go over it as well.  I emailed them and set up a meeting and they found a lot of small corrections that even my friends and professor hadn’t noticed.  I think it was a great experience to get more information about proper writing.  It also helps that I did really well on my paper too!!
