    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Student Discounts

Since Duluth is a college town, with UMD, CSS, LSC, and even UWS across the lake, there are a lot of businesses that offer different student discounts.  For example, I know that Erberts and Gerberts offers a free drink coupon to students.  There are also student discounts at Francesca’s, the Tavern, and more. It’s nice being a student and having businesses realize that we are all poor and can’t afford most of the things we want to do.  I know that even though I work throughout school, I have still taken out loans and things like that so I still technically owe money.  Wherever you go, I would ask the business if they have any promotions for students or punch cards and things like that! You never know what kinds of deals you can find.
