    Brooke's Bio:
I came to Duluth because I love the city, and this small school has a home-like feel. I play volleyball here and have other interests in listening to music, being outdoors and hanging out with friends. I like to stay active as much as I can, and I don't think I'll have any problem finding something to do in this amazing city. After graduation, I want to enroll in CSS’ Physician Assistant graduate program.

Grandma’s Weekend

This weekend is one of the most populated weekends in Duluth that happens each year.  It is Grandma’s Weekend, meaning, the marathon and half marathon and 5K are all this weekend.  I’m not quite sure how many races they have, but I think I named them all.  Seriously this weekend is crazy busy for Duluth, but I think it brings in tons and tons of revenue which is super good for the city itself!  My sister almost ran the marathon this year, but her friend bailed on her and she decided she definitely wasn’t in shape to run it alone.  All I know is that you couldn’t pay me to run even the half marathon.  I am not a huge runner myself, but there are tons of people that do it all the time. I have always wanted to be in Duluth for a Grandma’s Weekend, but I’m pretty sure it would be too busy for my liking.  The only thing I would enjoy is seeing all the alumni and school friends come back to celebrate!!
