Training Sessions

the past two days, I along with several students who are part of the Institue have been training to be great role models and counselors to the high school student who will participate in the program. For the summer, we were offered several readings.  We read several stories from Leading Lives That Matter and other articles. We had the opportunity to share and present our reading with the Theology department. Several Professors from the theology department guided the conversation and offered wise and thoughtful knowledge. Throughout the training, we went through policies, expectation, defining vocation, we practiced singing, we created plans for our students,  presented our strengths after taking the strength finders survey, teamwork actvities and we bonded and ate delicious food. It’s going to be an amazing program! cannot wait!
