First Job Fair

I went to my very first job fair today and it was exciting! After several revisions on my resume from career services, faculty, and other experts, my resume could not have been much more prepared for the Head of the Lakes job fair.  The fair began at 10 am and it went all the way to 2 pm. Unfortunately, I was busy all morning and afternoon but I managed to go to the fair for forty-five minutes. Career services provided us with a free shuttle from Mitchell auditorium to UWS where the job fair was held. I took the shuttle at 1 pm and arrived at 1:15 pm. Quickly, I rushed to Maurices and Enterprise for accounting internships. I am glad I had an awesome conversation with both firms and discussed internship opportunities. Soon after, I browsed around and just sold myself to as many companies as I could. As a sophomore, this was a great opportunity to get an early start in getting myself out there. I am hoping I at least receive one call back from any firm. Although I am looking for an auditing internship, I would not mind working in finance, marketing, management, human resource or any business-like company that builds upon and utilizes my collegiate and community experiences and involvement.
