    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Just Another Day in the Life

Happy Thursday everyone.  Hope the week has gone quickly so far and everyone is ready and excited for the fun weekend ahead.  I know that I am!  I felt like yesterday was Thursday all day, so I am a little disappointed to realize that I still have another day of school tomorrow…but I am sure it will be relatively painless. haha. Today, on the other hand, will most likely prove a little more exhausting.  So far, I will have to:

  • Get up early, get ready for class, and arrive early to take care of other procrastinated homework before I start my actual class time. Status: Check.
  • Attend class.  Have a meeting discussing my progress and ability levels  (which I expect might lower my self esteem a little for the day…haha).
  • Fit in a short work out
  • Drop off an application near Rice Lake for a third job.  Yes, that’s right, three.
  • Mail off a package to my best friend in Mankato (she’s turning 21 on Saturday!  I think they are coupling her birthday with Halloween, so it should be a mega huge bash.)
  • Go grocery shopping…every college student’s favorite activity ever…
  • Be on the search for the world’s cheapest and most unique Halloween costume.  Should prove to be a pretty much impossible mission.
  • Do at least 5 hours of homework, again, that has been procrastinated.

Well, let the mission begin!
