    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Have Fun Tonight!

Happy Homecoming everyone!  Hope the day is going well and you’re all ready to cheer the Saints on to victory at the big game tonight.  Just some mom-like reminders 😉   :

  • Hold onto your school ID (and license if you’re 21).  You will need this for practically all events that you attend today, so keep it handy.  For the 21ers, no explanation necessary.  You want a drink at the dance?  You better have it with.
  • Be a good sport.  Don’t be lame at the game and be disrespectful towards the opponents.  Remember that they are just trying to have fun, too.
  • Find alternative transportation.  If you have been drinking, please don’t drive…this should go without saying!  haha.  Call a cab to get you from here to there, carpool with a sober driver, or take the CSS Shuttle.
  • Don’t leave your drinks.  Carry them with you or throw them away when your done.  This is not only for your safety (you remember having this discussion in health class!), but it also helps those who have to clean up after you.
  • Think through your clothing choices.  At the game, it will be freezing…obviously.  Wear a coat…wear some mittens…be smart.  At the dance, it will be hot.  Plan accordingly!
  • Buddy up!  It’s always a good idea to have someone who can help keep tabs on you throughout the course of the night, and vice versa.

Alright, with that being said… everyone have an amazing night!  Go Saints!!!
