    Amanda's Bio:
I grew up in the Twin Cities, but now live up in Ely, MN near the BWCA, where my family has been for the last 7 years. I have three brothers, who I adore, and I enjoy fishing, playing basketball, and rough housing with them whenever I can. My mom has been a daycare provider since I was born, which served as inspiration for me to pursue a degree in Elementary education. I also love to paint, draw, and DANCE! I have been dancing for twenty years and am a dance instructor in Superior, WI....I can't imagine a life without it!

Get ready to parttaaayyy

I am so excited for the night ahead.  I have been spending the majority of the day perfecting my costume for the party I am going to tonight out at Fortune Bay Resort and Casino near my home in Ely.  It’s promising to be an amazing event, not only because it’s located in a casino, but also because it’s featuring a live band (AC DC tribute), lots of food and drinks, and a high buck costume contest.  After much indecisiveness, I settled on dressing up as a ring leader for tonight.  It’s a really adorable get-up (not sure if it’s worth any prize money), but will nevertheless be a blast.  I am going with a very close friend of mine, so either way it will just be nice to hang out, have a drink or two, and hopefully make a few bucks at the slots if we are lucky.

I hope that everyone has an amazing time tonight.  There are a lot of different parties and events going on (including the Hangar Party and Grandma’s Night of the Living Dead), so I just want to remind you to be safe and use your best judgement when different inevitable situations arise…(you know what I am talking about!).  Keep an eye out for your buds and be smart.  Now go have fun and get your boogie on!
