    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

World History Project

During spring break, I am trying to get ahead on my research presentation for my World History I class. We are assigned a chapter, and then supposed to pick an entity (women, trade, technology, etc.) within that chapter and find more information. I have chapter seven which is the Roman and Han eras from 300 CE to 300 BCE. I have decided to pick a female figure from each empire, Terentia and Ban Zhao, respectively. I also have more women that I have some information on and will include in the presentation. I think it’s important for me to research the women because I found that information about them in history textbooks certainly lack compared to their male counterparts. I have found some interesting information about each figure. It’s really fun to do a “herstory” project!
