    Alexa's Bio:
I was born and raised in the Twin Ports area and am the youngest of five kids. I always wait until the last minute to do really important things (bad habit). In my spare time I love to dance and was on the Dance Team here at CSS.

Where Have I Been?

Unfortunately, the last few weeks have been beyond hectic, and I feel like I haven’t had a free second to do anything other than go to class, work, do homework, and go to dance practice.

HALF OF THE SEMESTER IS ALREADY OVER! This means that there are mid-terms coming at me left and right, and one of my classes is even ending for good on Friday, so I have a final 10 page paper I have to finish and turn in for that. Plus, I have had three group projects in the last two weeks, and numerous other assignments. Last weekend I went to my Dad’s house to celebrate his birthday with him. I spent the majority of my weekend doing homework.

I still don’t exactly feel caught up. There is always something that could be done. Even if my homework for the next day is done, I don’t feel satisfied or accomplished because I know I’ll just have more, and I still have assignments for the day after to get done, too. But that’s okay. That’s college.

I am excited about one thing, though. The Dance Team has started to practice for competition season which is truly the most wonderful time of the year. I also am working with the captains and two other members on my team to choreograph a jazz dance. This is proving to be quite challenging, but I’m up to it, and it’s a nice break from all the stress that classes are bringing me.

One of my best friends who I met my freshman year is coming to visit this weekend (which is Halloween, and a long one!) and I am so excited to see her. I was sad when she transferred this year to NDSU, but I’m happy to see her whenever I can! But, I also feel like this weekend will be an unproductive one because I will be attending the football game on Saturday, too. So, I’ll just have to get it all done before the weekend so I can enjoy it! Wish me luck…
